Together, we improve the lives of stray animals in Kosovo
An animal living on the streets has little protection from hunger, disease and traffic. That is why Animals Kosovo combines immediate help with a lasting, humane solution. Together with Kosovar veterinarians and local volunteers, we sterilize dogs and cats, treat sick and injured animals, and provide education.
This approach works. Since April 2024, 5,000 sterilizations have been completed. With your support, we can reach the next animal.
Sterilization works
A puppy or kitten born on the streets begins life without a safe place or reliable care. Sterilization breaks that cycle in an effective and humane way. Together with Kosovar veterinarians and volunteers, we have completed 5,000 sterilizations since April 2024.
A €50 donation funds the sterilization of one dog. A €30 donation helps one cat. In 2026, House of Animals is funding an additional 1,000 sterilizations.
Care when an animal needs us
Not every animal can wait. Our local volunteers regularly find puppies, kittens, and injured or sick animals that need immediate help. Together with veterinarians in Kosovo, we provide examinations, treatment, medication and temporary shelter. This gives a vulnerable animal medical attention and a safe place to recover.
